CJC Law is accepting DePuy hip replacement cases for review and, if appropriate, representation. In January of 2011, Attorneys Steven Collier and Janine Avila traveled to the West Palm Beach, Florida United States District Courthouse for an initial conference before Judge David Katz, who is presiding over the DePuy hip multi-district litigation (MDL). The MDL allows persons who received a defective hip implant to file suit in Toledo along with other individuals. While the initial conference was in Florida, Judge Katz will be presiding over the MDL in Toledo, Ohio in the United States District Courthouse, Northern District of Ohio, Western Division. CJC Law attorneys have represented individuals in this Court for over 30 years and represented injured persons in the first MDL in the district (In Re Ortho Evra Prods. Liab. Litig.), which was also before Judge Katz.
