On August 28, 2009,
Steve Smith will be a speaker at the CLE Insurance Law
seminar sponsored by the Ohio State Bar Association. Steve’s
topic will be Suits Against the Insurance Carrier. The
seminar will take place at the Ohio State Bar Association
in Columbus, Ohio. Steve focuses his practice in the area
of insurance coverage, representing insureds who have been
denied coverage by insurance companies.
On May 27, 2009, Janine Avila had the
privilege and honor of being sworn in as President of the
Toledo Women's Bar Association by the Honorable James D.
Jensen of the Lucas County Court of Common Pleas. She will
serve a one-year term furthering the organization's mission
to advance the opportunities available to women attorneys.
On April 16, 2009, Mike Bonfiglio
was sworn in for admission to the Bar of the U.S. Supreme
Court.
On April 16, 2009, Attorney Jason
A. Hill served as moderator at the Appellate Advocacy CLE
in Cleveland, Ohio sponsored by the Northern District of
Ohio Federal Bar Association.
In August, Reg Jackson concludes his service
on the American Bar Association House of Delegates.
